15+ Sick Day Activities for Stir Crazy Kids

Baby/Toddler Activities

It’s inevitable…

A sniffle or a cough almost always leads to a sick day epidemic in my house. With three kids, we just can’t avoid passing around germs.

While my kids are generally low key when they are SUPER sick, there are days when they’re not. They are *just* sick enough that they need to stay home. But *just* well enough that they can’t sit around and rest all day long.

That’s where this list of sick day activities comes in…

These activities are for when you’ve been stuck in the house for a few days and you and your kids are starting to feel stir crazy!

Even though kids may think that they are ready to conquer the world and play HARD when their fevers pass or their sneezes fade, as parents we know that that isn’t the case.

Sick kids have limited energy, even when they feel better.

These sick day activities will give stir-crazy kids something to do while still helping them to rest up while they play.Cough. Sneeze. ICK! Sick Day Activities for Kids that will help you and your little ones get through flu season. Simple prep. Easy to clean up. Loving these activities for my kids!I wanted to keep this list super simple.

Not only because sick kids have limited energy, but also because I know that caring for sick kids can be hard on you too.

I know because I’ve been there.

I AM there…

In solidarity, I made sure that these sick day activities are easy for you to set up and clean up. Because, Momma, you need to rest up too!

Sick day activities for kids who are getting restless, but aren't well enough to go back to school. Poor kids!

Note: There are a few posts that are specific to Christmas time with a * next to them. Don’t worry if it’s not Christmas when you read this list, they can be adapted for any time of year.

Easy sick day activities to keep kids from getting stir crazy!

I know that it’s not always easy to care for sick kids.

In fact, it’s no fun for anyone.

But, I also know that these simple sick-day activities can help you and your little one feel a little less stir crazy when you’ve been stuck inside with a bug.

Hopefully, these are *just* what you need to make it through the flu season.

Solidarity sister.
