When I read the words, “no sew play mat,” I was in disbelief.
Because I’ve come to realize that almost everything cute requires sewing. But, I was wrong! Imagine my excitement (and possibly yours…), when I realized that there was a no-sew project that both of my kids would love to play with! It all started when I got a box in the mail from a dear friend of mine…
When the package arrived, my kids clambered over each other to rip it open.
They knew what was inside…
A brand new version of my friend, Asia Citro’s, book: 150+ Screen-Free Activities for Kids. (affiliate link)
Now, if you don’t know Asia, you’re missing out. She blogs over at Fun at Home with Kids and my guess is that you’ve seen her genius highlighted all over Pinterest – she really is that amazing you all!
And, her book?
Even better!
Asia’s known for her original slime, dough, and paint recipes, but I was thrilled to see how many do-it-yourself toys she had to offer, too.
I fell in love with her dinosaur no sew play mat and I decided to make a car version for my son…
I *wish* I could tell you the secret behind making this simple play mat for kids, but you’ll have to find out for yourself in Asia’s new book. <–aff link
I *can* tell you that if you kid(s) who love all things sensory or you need some new ideas to keep your kids learning and having fun at home, then this is the perfect book for you.
From babies to older kids, you’ll find something for everyone!
