I’m always looking for ways to use foam stickers.
Mostly, because I think foam stickers are absolutely adorable. Plus, kids love to decorate with them and they come in all shapes and styles. Since we love learning games and games that keep us moving, we just HAD to come up with a quick and easy foam stickers game!!
I provided some Amazon links for you – thanks for your support!!
We received these awesome foam stickers for free from Craft Projects Ideas (I’ve gotta tell you that legally, but personally, I love their products!!). I was so excited to come up with this quick and easy game using a few things from around the house.
Materials for Foam Stickers Game
- Foam Stickers (I know…what a shocker…)
- Foam Sheets
- Cube or Block
- Hole Punch
- Pipe Cleaners (We received these for free, too, and I ADORE the colors!!)
Okay, you’ll need to prep a few things before you start playing. You can make a dice like we did from a cubed block. Tape signs on each side of the block that match the color of the foam stickers you have.
Note: I wrote the word and colored the word to help my daughter “read” it herself
Then, cut out the crowns from foam sheets. Fold the foam sheet in half (like a hamburger) and draw a line from the top corner to the bottom corner. This will make a basic triangle or crown shape. We added a little “peak” half way down the triangle to look more like a tiara.
How to Play Foam Stickers Game
- Take turns rolling the dice.
- You can choose one of the foam stickers that matches the color you rolled.
- Stick it anywhere on your crown!
- We played until we had 14 foam stickers on our crowns.
Note: One of the options on the dice was “Choose your own color” but if you’d like to make it more of a traditional GAME, you could write: “Lose a Turn” instead.
Once you’ve finished, you’ll want to show off your foam stickers crown!! Punch holes at the bottom on the crown and lace one pipe cleaner through each hole. Put the tiara on and twist the pipe cleaners together to fit your head.
This would be perfect for a sleepover or for a pink party for girls! But, I have to say, my three-year-old and I LOVED doing this together for a little mother/daughter bonding time!!
